Ferozepur: Constitution Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Ferozepur Division of Indian Railways today at Ferozepur, under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Sanjay Sahu and the officials and employees gathered at the Divisional Office to collectively recite the Preamble of the Constitution and reaffirm their commitment to its principles.
The recitation of the Preamble was simultaneously organized at key stations across the division, including Ferozepur Cantonment, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Pathankot, Jammu Tawi, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, and Srinagar.
As part of the celebration, awareness drives were conducted at railway stations and offices to educate passengers and employees about the constitutional values and their significance in promoting unity, equality, and justice.
The event was graced by senior officials, including Additional Divisional Railway Manager Rajendra Kumar Kalra, Senior Divisional Engineer (Coordination) Anurag Joshi, Senior Divisional Operations Manager Ucchit Singhal, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Sakshi Singh, and Divisional Personnel Officer Vijendra Kumar. Several railway staff members from the divisional office also actively participated in the event, making it a memorable occasion.
The initiative emphasized the importance of constitutional values in fostering a harmonious and inclusive society, reflecting the Indian Railways' commitment to national integrity.
