PATIALA: The Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at Government Medical College, Patiala, has brought pride to the institution as its postgraduate students achieved remarkable success at the recently concluded 43rd Northwest Zone Conference, held at AIIMS Bathinda.
Director-Principal Dr. Rajan Singla shared that Dr. Esheet Bhatia received the gold medal for the Best Thesis Paper. Dr. Sakshi Sharma was awarded the gold medal for the Best Paper Presentation and Dr. Esheet Bhatia and Dr. Preynka emerged victorious in the Quiz Competition.
Dr. Singla highlighted that the conference saw participation from postgraduate students across medical colleges in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, making this achievement even more significant.
Congratulating the department, Dr. Singla stated, “I am extremely proud of the outstanding achievements of our postgraduate students at the 43rd Northwest Zone Conference. Securing three gold medals is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence. “ I also extend my heartfelt appreciation to the faculty members of the ENT department for their invaluable guidance and mentorship” he added.
