Chandigarh: Minister of Attorney General and Legal Affairs, Govt of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Renuka Sagram Singh Sooklal today met Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini at his residence. The meeting took place in continuation of a delegation sent by the State Govt to Trinidad and Tobago in the last week of June, 2024 led by Sh. Kailash Bhagat, Chairman, Hafed in an effort to explore the business opportunities in Trinidad and Tobago and other Caribbean Countries.
During the meeting, the CM discussed various avenues where ties between business entities of Harana and Trinidad and Tobago can be strengthened. He also expressed that both the stakeholders can work in mutual cooperation. He also advised Chairman Hafed to look for opportunities where farmers of the State can be benefited by selling their produce to different countries through Hafed which is an Apex Cooperation Federation of the State.
It is interesting to note that a sizeable number of Indian Diasporas lives in Trinidad and Tobago. The State Government is keen to explore business potential for its entities globally.
