Arora gives cheques for dev works to new panchayats

SUNAM: Punjab Cabinet Minister, Aman Arora while giving cheques for the development works to various Gram Panchayats falls under Sunam assembly constituency(SAC) said that there would be no shortage of grants to ensure the amenities of the people in villages and cities. He urged the newly elected representatives by the people to make good use of the grants issued by the government from time to time.


Mr. Arora said that a symbolic beginning has been made today and in the coming days, grants will be given for the development works of other villages too. He called upon the newly formed panchayats to discharge their responsibilities with full dedication, honesty and eloquence. He said that the swearing-in ceremony of the panchayats is yet to be held but the purpose of giving grants for development works is to strengthen the sense of responsibility in the village panchayats, so that all the panches and sarpanches, working as a good team, can contribute to the village and to contribute towards making the best in every aspect.

 

Besides others, Chairman, Mahinder Singh Sidhu; Municipal Council President, Nishan Singh Tony and Sarpanches and Panches of villages Bigharwal, Bharur, Sheron, Chowas, Ghasiwala, Jagatpura, Singhpura, Shahpura Shahpur Kalan were also present on the occasion.
