Two Minute Silence Observed to remember the freedom fighters who sacrificed lives during India's Freedom Struggle

SAS Nagar: To remember the contribution of the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives during the freedom struggle of India, a two-minute silence was observed, today, at District Administrative Complex, SAS Nagar, Mohali.

The two-minute silence was attended by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Deepak Pareek, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Viraj S Tidke, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Mrs Sonam Chaudhary and other staff of the District Administrative Complex.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner Viraj S Tidke said that the day observed on the death anniversary of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi Ji, reminds us of the freedom fighters of the country who laid down their lives in line of patriotism to make us independent from the yoke of Britishers.

SSP Deepak Pareek said that we should always respect our Nation, especially the great freedom fighters who fought for us against the cruelty of British Rulers to make us a proud life with a better future.
