Chandigarh:TiE Chandigarh proudly hosted the Spotlight on Women Entrepreneurship: Teej Special, a dynamic event that celebrated the resilience and success of women entrepreneurs on the occasion of World Entrepreneurs' Day. Held in Chandigarh, the event witnessed an overwhelming response from women entrepreneurs and business leaders, who came together to share their inspiring stories and exchange valuable insights.
The event featured engaging panel discussions and networking sessions, providing a platform for women from diverse industries to highlight their entrepreneurial journeys. They also discussed the challenges they faced and the innovative strategies that helped them establish thriving businesses. A special ceremony was held to honor outstanding women entrepreneurs who have made remarkable contributions to their respective fields.
Isha Taneja, Chair of TiE Chandigarh Women, took the opportunity to outline the various programs and initiatives of TiE Chandigarh, aimed at fostering entrepreneurship. Co-chair Shaira Kansal introduced the audience to the TiE Women Program, while Co-chair Ekta Gupta managed the event seamlessly, ensuring that every aspect was organized and executed entirely by women.
The spotlight also shone on the TiE Chandigarh Secretariat, which is led by three women: Ashu Sharma, Executive Director (In term); Navsudeep Kaur, Senior Program Manager; and Asha Kashyap, Accounts & Admin Associate. Their leadership exemplifies the empowerment and advancement of women in the organization.
A key highlight of the event was the discussion on the significance of resilience and innovation in entrepreneurship. Participants emphasized the need for a supportive ecosystem to nurture the growth of women-led businesses. The event concluded with a celebration of Teej, infusing cultural heritage with entrepreneurial spirit.
About 15 women led startups exhibited their products at the event and were very well received by the audience giving them a good visibility and opportunity to promote their businesses.
The event was supported by generous sponsors, including Dainik Jagran, MyFM, Neesh Perfumes, Lakmé Academy, and Garnier, whose contributions added immense value to the proceedings.
With over 100 women entrepreneurs in attendance, the Spotlight on Women Entrepreneurship: Teej Special reaffirmed TiE Chandigarh's dedication to empowering and uplifting women in the business community. The event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on all participants.
