Ferozepur: Under the 'Sampark Police Public Partnership Program,' SSP Ferozepur, Smt. Saumya Mishra, IPS, interacted with school children and villagers at Senior Secondary School, Nurpur Sethan. The initiative emphasized open communication, trust-building, and collaborative efforts to create a safer society.

The program, led by young officers and supported by Saanjh teams, focuses on engaging students from classes 9-12 and colleges alongside local committees and business organizations.

During the session, school children from classes 11 and 12 shared their insights on critical issues such as drug abuse, traffic safety, and street crimes. The interaction aimed to inspire students to play an active role in shaping a secure and progressive society. Villagers and Village Defense Committees (VDCs) raised their concerns in an open dialogue, addressing local challenges such as law enforcement and community safety.

SSP Mishra assured immediate action on locally resolvable issues, assigning them to respective DSPs and SHOs with a commitment to providing feedback within five days. This proactive initiative reflects the Ferozepur police’s dedication to community-led policing and underscores the power of collective efforts in achieving a secure and harmonious environment, added SSP.
