Mohali Administration to rope in Coding Expert to equip the 9th onwards students using AI

MOHALI: To make the Government School students tech-savvy through coding courses, the Mohali Administration is going to collaborate with Code Yogi, a software company working for underprivileged students to equip them with AI technology.

 

Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner Mrs Aashika Jain said that earlier the administration had worked with Mind Spark to make the students perfect in languages, Maths and Science subjects. Now, in this developing world of AI techniques, it has been felt that the students of government schools and government ITIs also need these types of skills to shape their future to compete with the rest of the world.

 

She said that in the first meeting today, the Chief Operating Officer of the software company, Code Yogi, Mr Rakesh Sehgal discussed the module of the training that would be free of cost. Moreover, the students do need not to arrange computers or laptops for training, the company have a mobile phone platform so that they can join the course classes through mobile phones.

 

The program, accessible via mobile devices, features interactive and animated content designed to make students market-ready. The initiative will be rolled out shortly across the district, added the Deputy Commissioner, Aashika Jain.
