CHANDIGARH Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, welcomed Ms Neena Sharma, Head, Department of English, Dean Admissions, Dean Languages, Institutional Coordinator, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and Coordinator, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at the college, as its Officiating Principal.
Sh. R C Jeevan, Governing Body Member of the college, Ms.Suman Mahajan, Former Offg. Principal of the college, Members of college Advisory council, Staff representative to the Governing Body of the college, and senior members of non-teaching staff were present on the occasion. All the members of the staff congratulated her as she assumed her new role at the institution where she has been working since 1995. Ms Neena Sharma has contributed immensely in the college in various committees of the college and served the institution with great dedication.
Ms. Sharma said that she feels privileged to serve the institution in a new capacity and said that she is conscious of the responsibility that this position entails. She thanked the DAV College Managing Committee for the faith reposed in her and added that she will work to the best of her abilities to take forward the rich legacy of MCM, with commitment to quality and holistic education and will work tirelessly to uphold the pious traditions and values of this illustrious institution.
