Alok Mittal Takes Charge as Director General of Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau

Panchkula: Mr. Alok Mittal, the newly appointed Director General of Haryana's Anti-Corruption Bureau, took charge at the bureau's headquarters in Panchkula today. During his visit, he inspected the bureau's office, gathered information about the official and staff work processes, and provided necessary guidelines.

 

While inspecting the office, Mr. Mittal outlined his priorities, stating that the formation of the Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau aims to make the state corruption-free. To achieve this goal, we must all work as an effective and efficient team. During the inspection, Mr. Mittal interacted with the staff members. He inquired about the duties of each officer and employee. Mr. Mittal emphasized that it is essential for every officer and employee in the bureau to have clarity about their work. The clearer the understanding of one's work, the better and more effective the work process will be.

 

He further stated that the bureau will adopt a zero-tolerance policy against corruption. No negligence in this matter will be tolerated. He also appealed to the general public, urging them to immediately report any officer or employee demanding a bribe for government work to the Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau's helpline numbers 1064 or 1800-180-2022. He said that the public's role is crucial in making the state corruption-free, and therefore, people should cooperate in this endeavour
